Oh its no problem. I should probably start posting up the linkso n the artist comments cuz people do wonder how to make things after all.

The mochi you make from sweet rice flour (Mochiko) which you can buy at the grocery store. you may have to go either in the baking section or the foreign aisle to find it. The box has a recipe on the back for cocoa mochi but this is the site i used to make it [link] BE CAREFUL!! Mochi out of the microwave is MOLTEN LAVA HOT! wait for it to cool down some before cutting. Another warning... Wear either some skin tight disposable gloves cuz this stuff is stickier then glue!! make sure to powder your hands with michiko often! it won't be easy to make at first, trust me... =A= after making it the first few times i'd rather just buy it then make it.

[link] is the site i used to make the japanese cheese cake. you might want to go easy on the lemon... just a tad cuz when i made it the lemon seemed very obvious to me. could be i'm just sensitive but it bothered me that i could taste the lemon the most out of the whole thing. hope that helps!

I just came across your bento here and i notice someone already asked the question I was gonna ask. XD

However the link no longer works. Do you have another link for making Mochi? or do you maybe remember how to do it?

Here i like this one, its very helpful! I always browse youtube if i want to learn something or figure out how something is done. when it comes to cooking japanese foods i always check out "Cookingwithdog" and see if they have a recipe that i am looking for. this one here: [link] is Daifuku mochi but it can be easily regular mochi by not adding the strawberry. hope that helps.
