Quick question, (looks good btw *drools*) the right tray is the lid right? how does the food not, like, tumble together when the bento is in one piece?
Corselia Featured By Owner Jul 12, 2012
the right tray is the bottom teir. it is separated by a lil white tray then the top teir goes on top of it, then another white lid and the final cover. i just didn't put the white lids or final cover in the shot

I tried to make the yogurt dessert with red jello instead of food color ~ and vanilla didn't set up as well as I hoped. I thought it would taste neat.... I lined the tray with gram crumbs. If I get it to turn out I'll let you know! I love the way it looks on yours.

XD red jello??? like... the jelly jello??? how does that work? did you use the powdered form? or is it the cake icing decorative gel? Hrm, i saw one person using berries to decorate yogurt. so maybe you can cut up some strawberries and create flower patters on the yogurt! or you can use chocolate syrup and a tooth pick and do the same as i did with food coloring. or if you REALLY wanna be creative and don't mind using up alot of time... i just remember something i saw from a movie. there were these monks who were creating a picture using only colored sands! so maybe... if you take a paper, fold it in half and make a sort of 'V' shape to it and use colored food coloring (the powerded type) and very carefully and gently place the powered food coloring onto the paper and gently tap it onto the yogurt you might be able to create a picture? it seems hard though.

I tried to swirl in extra thick jello before it was the recipe for the wigglers calls for. But it didn't work. I might try just wetting some powered and swirling it through!
I like the powered pic idea....I wonder if I could use the powered to tint the yogurt and make a rainbow of colored yogurt?

XD rainbow would be a good idea! Bright and colorful bentos are always a plus for me!
